The best way to experience the Road to Hana! Booking and communication was simple. Yes, it is absolutely do able on your own but the driving and parking is tricky!!! Our guide Alika was awesome, friendly, knowledgable and made our trip so easy! He customized our trip to avoid weather and make the most of our time. We told him the things our kids wanted to see and do. Alika took us on an adventure! Such a fun day....he took lots of pictures and air dropped them to us at the end. We would do the tour all over again!

Finding this excursion was one of the best highlights of our whole trip. The communication booking it was so good and arranging to meet on our cruise ship dock was perfect. Since this is a private tour, every detail was geared toward our capabilities and what we wanted. Our driver, Alika was fantastic. We had been on our own, on the road to Hana once before on an previous trip and this time was so much more fun. Alike took us on an incredible hidden water fall hike up to all these hidden pools of water falls that we jumped and swam in, that most tourists do not even know about. My 19 year old son and niece got so excited to do this but The hike was on the hard side so he had suggested that I stay back. I decided to go for it after doing so good on the first waterfall we had done15 minutes before. Alika helped me on this long hike through many twists and turns, it also had rained lightly so it was slipoery. His guidance and personality was amazing. Then we went for this fantastic food truck lunch that was so delicious and fun. He then took us to black sand beach and red sand beach which had an amazing hike to it that we had never seen the last time. Alika was able to drive through the very hectic traffic as it is packed going to and from there and get us back to the ship on time. He even let us stop in this cute town to pick up a tee shirt. One of the best tours we have ever done and we travel alot!! A must do, not worth driving yourself, you will see and do so much more.
