Death Valley National Park is home to the lowest point in North America, the Badwater Basin. This salt flat sits at 282 feet below sea level and is the most popular attraction in the park. No trip to the area would be complete without a stop there and it is located right in the heart of the Death Valley National Park. It’s like being on another planet.

This was a magical day for us to say the least. I booked this tour to both experience Death Valley as well as propose to my long-time girlfriend in a truly aesthetic area. Lankun was our tour guide and she was AWESOME. Super friendly and great photographer. She was super creative in picking spots for photos all throughout the tour as well as filming/shooting the moment I proposed. She arrived to our hotel on time in the morning and brought more water bottles in a frozen cooler than we could count. She did not let us leave the vehicle without a fresh bottle of water. Our first stop was the winery in Pahrump, which was super charming. We bought a bottle of Riesling for later on. She also gave us the option to pick up food along the way. We saw all of the major stops including Dante's View (Lankun took us on a short hike along a trail she knew about which brought us to a cliff to take photos), Furnace Visitor Center (we bought a magnet, used the bathroom, took a picture next to the outdoor thermometer that read 125 degrees!) , Badwater Basin (our proposal spot on the Salt Flats, Zabriski point (we visited this twice, once during the day, and again at night for stargazing, photography of the milky way. Lankun brought her own professional camera and tripod), and Artist's Palette (Lankun brought some folding beach chairs for us and gave us some privacy as we ate dinner on top of a mountain overlooking the sunset and the geological formations of Artist's Palette). All photos Lankun sent us via email or Airdrop. We were back to our hotel around 1130p.

My husband and I did this tour with Lankun (aka Mama) as our tour guide. We enjoyed our first stop at the winery very much. They were super nice and knowledgeable about all the wines. Death Valley was magnificent. We felt like we were on a different planet. Lankun was like a walking encyclopedia about the park and surrounding areas. You could tell she had a love for the area and the park. She also took some amazing pictures of us and for us. The variety of stops in the park gave us a view of all the different vistas the park has to offer and the stargazing at night was spectacular. We saw shooting stars and the Milky Way. Lankun was well prepared for us and we felt like we were in good hands the entire time. Would highly recommend this day trip!

My husband and I booked this tour for our visit in June, and I highly recommend it as a unique way to spend the day outside of Las Vegas. Lorenzo began our trip by explaining the history of Vegas on the way to Pahrump, NV. We saw Joshua trees and made a quick pit stop where Lorenzo took very cool, scenic photos of us. Our wine tasting at Artesian Cellars was the perfect way to start the adventure. We really enjoyed meeting the people (and tasting a variety of wines). Next up was Death Valley, where Lorenzo took us to Dante’s peak, Zabriskie’s point, Artist’s palette, and Badwater (where the temps reached 120 degrees). We saw breathtaking views and had perfect lighting (I.e.,sunset, dusk) from the high points and the low. At EVERY SINGLE STOP, Lorenzo made sure we knew the key points about the location, had cool water, and a spectacular photo as a souvenir. His knowledge and love of the landscape was evident at every stop in our journey. We finished the evening with the most amazing view of the stars I’ve ever seen! It was an experience I will never forget!!
