Overview
A small group of no more than 12 people is always our advantage. Also, you will have a professional outdoor photographer guide, who hikes with you the whole experience. The Death Valley will always take your breath away! Home of the hottest temperature ever recorded on earth, and dramatic views that make you feel as if you’re on another planet. We will begin by taking a refreshing and tasteful wine tasting tour, you will taste wine from grapes grown locally at Pahrump. We will then head towards our main attraction, the incredible Death Valley NP. We will take you to Dante’s View, an overlook of Death Valley, and one of the locations used to record Star Wars. We stop at the Badwater Basin, the lowest point in the western hemisphere. As the nightfall approaches, we will head towards the Zabriskie Point for an experience of the sunset and stargazing. 2
Pahrump Valley Winery
Pahrump is located an hour away from Las Vegas. It has Nevada’s largest producing winery and leading producer of Nevada grown wines with 35-tons of Nevada grown grapes. If you are 21+, you’ll get to experience a wine tour with an accomplished winery holding many awards including Best Winery & Best Restaurant and a 5-time “Award of Excellence” from Trip Advisor. You can enjoy some wine tasting while having lunch in a picnic type setting (at your own expense).
3
Death Valley National Park
* Photo stop at Death Valley welcome sign
4
Dante's View
Dante's View provides a panoramic view of the southern Death Valley basin.
5
Furnace Creek Visitor Center
You will like the little museum inside the visitor center. Dont's forget to take picture with the sign which shows the world-record 134 degrees, and which also shows the current temperature.
6
Badwater
Death Valley National Park is home to the lowest point in North America, the Badwater Basin. This salt flat sits at 282 feet below sea level and is the most popular attraction in the park. No trip to the area would be complete without a stop there and it is located right in the heart of the Death Valley National Park. It’s like being on another planet.
7
Artists Palette
One of Death Valley’s hidden gems is the Artists Palette painted hills. It is truly a majestic site to behold. You cannot visit Death Valley without making a stop here. You will watch the sunset here at the Artists Palette Painted Hills which makes the best color viewing.
8
Zabriskie Point
Death Valley is certified as the 3rd International Dark Sky Park in the U.S. National Park System by the International Dark-Sky Association. We will sit in the darkness and peacefulness to enjoy the night sky and stargazing. This is a great experience especially if you're from the city, even with Las Vegas just 2-hours away, to experience how people viewed the sky over 100 years ago.
9
The Strip
After that, we are heading back to the sin city. You will be back to Vegas around 11pm.

We loved the Death Valley portion of the trip and our guide was good. Art was very informative and kept us well hydrated throughout the trip. What left a bad taste in our mouth was having to pay out of pocket for the wine tasting when we already payed over 360 a person to go on trip…the least company could do is pay for wine tasting if the tour is called a Death Valley and wine tasting tour. Too cloudy for stargazing unfortunately which was disappointing but no control over that. Did see a tiny sunset! Would have given higher star rating if they included the wine tasting. Would recommend the tour but be aware no food OR wine is included

Hi, Jon. Thanks for taking the time to give us the review. This tour is $285/per person. I will reconfirm with your booking agent about the price. Thanks for letting us know. We strongly recommend all travelers call iTravel USA directly for a better rate, and more details about inclusion and exclusion.

Great tour of Death Valley with an incredibly knowledgeable and kind guide. Unfortunately, the $400 fee did not come with anything VIP. I’d estimate this is really $150 value at best. Art, the guide, was awesome.

Dear Charlene. Thank you for liking our guide Art. Our Death Valley tour is an 12-hour experience. $400 is single traveler fee on Viator, to ensure we can run the tour even not enough travelers. I would suggest single traveler to contact us directly to book the tour on a day we already have other travelers. The price will be significantly different.

Amazing trip. The guide knows so much stuff about Death Valley , the wine tasting was fab and the views / pictures you take is awesome- the “star” of the show was certainly stargazing at night- was so beautiful. Having the guide who’s a great photographer too takes the stress off you needed to work out the best place for pictures too. Definitely do this exursion!
