I know there are so many types of groups doing wine tours from refined to tiara tipsy and beyond. We were here to experience Virginian wineries, learn a few things and most importantly have some fun with friends and family. Our driver Gillie was the absolute perfect blend of promptness, professionalism, experience with the region, easy to talk to, knowing when to “let the car speak”, being there almost psychicly when we needed his assistance and stepping back when we needed more time. He took some great pics which you know you cannot place a price on, so this tour was worth every penny and beyond.

We surprised our friend for his 40th birthday and were lucky enough to get Chuck as our driver. This was more awesome than I thought it was going to be and was the only way I will ever take a wine tour again. Chuck was knowledgeable, the car was nice, the wineries were spectacular and I truly didn't want this day to end!! We will be back!

My husband surprised me with this tour and it couldn't have been a better way to celebrate my birthday! We went to 3 wineries over the course of the 5 hour day. Chuck was knowledgeable about each of the wineries, and even recommended that we change our third winery based on our preferences at each of the two before. We visited Pippin Hill, Veritas, and Pollak (based on Chuck's recommendation). Each winery was beautiful, and the wine was great at all 3 stops! Chuck was very attentive throughout the day and made our trip flawless with his excellent service. We will definitely use Blue Ridge Wine Excursions again!
