My girlfriend and I booked the private wine tour. Our Tour Guide, Anne, was the kindest and most knowledgable guide. We didn’t have any previous knowledge of the wineries in the area but Anne customized our day based on what types of wine we liked and the size and atmosphere we were looking for. She was very punctual and did a wonderful job keeping us on schedule to be able to see and sip at our planned wineries for that day. During the commute from winery to winery she provided great information on surrounding areas and history. She was so hospitable in ensuring we had water to stay hydrated, pulled up to the front door of the wineries, opened all doors for us and escorted us into each winery. She even carried our purchases to the car and packed them safely in a box for traveling home. We could not have asked for a better day and tour guide, who made it extra special. I will definitely recommend this tour and specifically Anne to all my friends and family.

Blue Ridge Wine Excursions provided top-notch customer service for our 15-person group tour to wineries and breweries. It was also reasonably priced compared to other bus tours I researched. Our guide, Gillie, was on time, had water on the bus for us, packaged our wine purchases for us, and offered to take pictures. Overall, we loved our tour and highly recommend to anyone considering planning a custom wine trip near Charlottesville.

We had a large group outing for a 31st birthday. The bus we rented was wonderful; new, high end, and comfortable. Our driver was exceptional. He was on time, attentive, and took great care of us - including serving a catered lunch. Highly recommended.
