Our tour guide Kurt turned out to be the dream guide. He was very understanding, very enthusiastic and really cared about us and really cares about the animals and the land and the history of the Malibu Countryside Wine Hike. He geared everything towards our little homeschool kiddos. There was a lot of freedom and support in our kiddos having the most wonderful and fulfilling adventure. Kurt was very generous with himself and with his time and with meeting all of our needs. The highlights included being greeted by the most lovely giraffe who adores Kurt and therefore was very open to us feeding him and we really seemed to make a special and unforgettable connection with him. The other animals too where so docile and friendly, the Zebra and the lamas and alpacas... just very sweet natured and particularly friendly. We also got to see the most beautiful Chumash cave paintings and this national monument where a Chumash princess was buried. A very magical spot indeed! Kurt was very flexible and allowed us to picnic for the end of our tour on the grassy lawn and our kiddos ate so well under the shade and had that summer experience of running through the sprinklers. I would highly recommend going on this tour and would highly recommend Kurt to be your guide if you were lucky enough to have him. A stellar person who went well beyond the regular call of duty.

If you are looking for a fun outdoor activity and unique experience to have with friends or signficant other then this is the activity for you! Summary of activity: walk through the vineyards, many picture opportunities with the scenary and safari animals (Stanley the giraffe, zebras, llamas, alpacas, yaks, horses, etc.), and 5 tastings at the winery where you can buy lunch at the food truck or cheese and crackers at the little store. Feeding Stanley was definitely the highlight! An added bonus was our hilarious, friendly tour guide, Kurt, who told us fun facts about the property and many jokes that kept the group laughing. Also, he was a great photographer so if you are picture person I would recommend requesting him as a guide!

When we arrived Kurt was so familiar with our plans it made our entire experience so seamless. My group raved about the hike. They loved the tour and the animals.
