Overview

Waikiki Turtle Canyon Snorkeling is an amazing way to experience Hawaii’s incredible marine life on Oahu’s south shore right in front of the Waikiki Skyline. Guests will have the opportunity to snorkel with Hawaii Green Sea turtles, numerous species of reef fish and every now and then we get surrounded by dolphins or a Humpback Whale breaching in the distance during Whale Season.

INCLUSIONS: A fully equipped 50 foot motor catamaran with lots of cockpit and deck seating, onboard restroom, snorkeling equipment and instruction, USCG licensed Captain offering hands on snorkeling instruction. We strongly advise guests to be comfortable swimming. We will supply buoyancy vests onboard.

Complimentary water will also be supplied onboard however please bring cash if you would like to purchase any soft drinks, alcohol, or light snacks.

We suggest bringing a hat/visor, swimwear, cover-up, sunscreen, towels, binoculars, and a camera.

Quite surprised at some of the reviews as we had an awesome time! Staff were really helpful and friendly, told us loads of information about the turtles. Saw loads of fish as well as the turtles that were swimming around and surfacing for air. Really magical experience and great boat ride also!

We got talked into doing this excursion from a third party and it was the biggest mistake we made. I wish we would have done more research before booking because we over paid for far less value. The staff was unfriendly, you could barely see in the water (lucky to even spot a turtle when snorkeling), water was overcrowded, no food/beverages provided, and NO FLIPPERS. For $120 per person I was shocked we didn't even receive any flippers. Save your money! We were so disappointed.

This was the worst experience we had whilst being on this holiday. Like many others reviewing, I wished I had researched this a bit better before we committed to this tour. The people who ran this had a CBF attitude and didn’t treat the passengers like they were guests. Being in our mid 30’s we thought we would let the families and senior people get their gear first, however when it got to us they were out of adult sized snorkels. We didn’t see any turtles whilst snorkeling and just the whole experience was very ‘meh’. Would highly recommend anyone considering taking this tour to go rent a car and travel north where you can see more turtles privately. Note that the locals and government are very passionate about the turtles so be sure to be respectful and give the turtles plenty of space when you do see them.
