Had to wait an hour for trolley only had time for one trip around could not stop at any attractions. There was no attempt to rectify situation.

I understand how this is frustrating. Our drivers do their best to remain on schedule, but some factors are simply out of their control. Traffic is notorious in Hawaii for being terrible at times. I am sure our drivers wish there were some way to bypass it to lower wait times, but that simply can not be done. Bought an advance ticket for 2 people for 4 days. Only used pink and blue lines, so didn’t get full value from my purchase. Should have just done pay-as-you-go and saved money. Buses were clean, drivers friendly. More like a bus tour than a hop off hop on.

We were only in Honolulu for a short time while on a cruise. Had a friend with us who used a walker and was limited. The trolley was a great opportunity for us to see the city without stressing him. Bill, our driver and guide, was wonderful. He made each location interesting with a personal touch. Although it was "hop on/hop off" very few people got off the trolley. Many were over 60 (like us!) and not able to walk long distances. It was the perfect experience for us and we all enjoyed it very much.
