Had to stand in line for my ver am hour to catch a trolley (they run every 40 mins so you had to stand in line for 40 mins plus 20 mins to get the second next trolley); trolley was over crowded so some people were standing; only one speaker in back so could not hear guide; it’s really not hop on and hop off like in other US and international cities. If you don’t have a specific desire to go to a given location, skip this. Public buses work very well!

Great way to see various attractions in Waikiki, our trolley driver Keoki was very informative as were the other drivers on the other routes. Sorry guys, you need to hand out cards with your names on!! We managed to take full advantage of our ‘buy one day get the second day free pass’. BUT… buyer beware, only one route - the pink line runs late. All the other routes finish really early, so really your second day free is almost the other half of day 1. Good if you can get seats, having read some of the reviews seems to be an issue. People don’t pay for a seat for their bags, so shouldn’t make people stand, don’t be afraid to ask to sit down.

We were on a cruise and had to take a $20 taxi ride to the location to get our voucher exchanged for tickets. Stupid since we could have hopped on a trolley very nearby and showed our voucher to the driver as is done for most hop on tours in many world cities.
