This was the Blue Line Tour: Highlights: Seeing Waikīkī Beach, Honola Blowhole, views of beautiful cliffs and areas not otherwise seen by new travelers to Oahu. It inspired us to explore more. Areas in need of improvement: Although he was friendly and shared his humor our guide did not offer deeper knowledge of the island culture to our satisfaction. He missed opportunities to dive deeper into information we were seeking on this tour. There were a couple of sites that he didn’t describe at all, only asking if anyone wanted to get off. It left us wishing we had a more informed tour driver. He wasn’t a guide in the truest sense.

We rode the Blue Line with Chico as our driver/guide. He was an excellent driver, provided interesting and entertaining commentary and found extra time for a quick restroom break! We really enjoyed this tour up the coast to the Blowhole. Many wonderful vistas. Then we rode the Red Line which takes you past many sites of historic interest including the Punch Bowl. We hopped off to tour (prebook this!) Iolani palace, which was excellent. Then we rejoined the line. Finally, we took the Pink Line to the mall, shopped extensively and then back again (driver entertained us with the ukalele, I lost his card but very entertaining as well). The ticket location in the mall was close to our hotel and the staff were very helpful. Easiest way to get around Waikiki. I just wish they had a line to the museum in Honolulu.

It was perfect for me to be able to Hop on and Off the Trolley! I was able to see and experience so much more on Oahu Island! I recommend Waikiki Trolley if it’s your first time visiting.
