I enjoy a good walking tour and have been on tours in different cities throughout the U.S. and Europe. This tour would was not ideal. The group was too large. I understand that not all tours can be private, but there was 40+ people on the tour. You couldn’t hear or see most things well without pushing your way upfront. The sites that we stopped at and the information given was good history and appropriate or I would have rated it less than a 3. I would suggest you pay a little more and choose another company for your Boston walking tour.

In July our private tours cap at 30, or just for your family or group. Our public tours seem to be 40+ Our guides are trained vocally On the tour we always encourage people to form a semi circle Some people prefer to stay in the back, nothing we can do about that.

Our guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable and also alert to the group's needs. He spent 90 minutes basically screaming to be heard. Great effort by him! However, the tour size was MASSIVE. We signed up for the 930 but it was changed to 10am. We counted over 50 people in our group, making it very challenging to hear, find places to stand, and walk safely in a group. It was a very hot day so our guide was looking for shaded areas to stand but we were just too many people to fit anywhere. These were some stops that I could only hear about half of what was being said due to loud intersections nearby. I saw a post below with a similar comment and the company responded that the groups are capped at 30. That is a lie.

No lie, adjustments had to be made Accommodations to those guests who were rained out. This guide giving this tour was not yelling, he is a trained vocalist that speaks loudly and clearly from his diaphragm. Never a problem with guests.

Our travel guide dressed and portrayed as “John Otis” was amazing! His knowledge of the times and even acting of the parts brought us back in time to tie in the events to the location. Highly recommended tour for anyone from a novice to expert on the times.
