We were disappointed because we thought the tour included all the freedom trail and the guide didn’t take as there. When we got to Boston Common he said the tour ended there and if we wanted to continue we had to pay additional fee

I am sorry you misunderstood and were disappointed. We try and make clear that the tour includes the Freedom Trail sites from Faneuil Hall to Boston Common. This Downtown Freedom Trail portion makes up 11 of the 16 total sites of the Freedom Trail. To do the total Freedom Trail is a half-day tour, not the 2-hour tour you took. Just so you know, the Freedom Trail actually does end at Boston Common. You cannot continue on the Freedom Trail from there. The tour you took also includes the additional part to Back Bay via Beacon Hill, both of which are beyond the Freedom Trail. The message was for some people who had asked about upgrading to the longer tour, which you already had signed up for. I am sorry this was all a surprise to you so if you would like a refund for that, please contact me directly.

Our guide was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed walking and learning about the history of not only Boston, but our nation. I highly encourage others to make this tour a part of your trip.

Our guide was very knowledgeable regarding hitory and architecture. He was very chill, and open to questions, but kept the tour moving. He liked a good joke but never went overvthe top. Very glad we did it because for the remainder of the trip we had context for everything we saw.
