Alan was great, knowable and humorous. A good tour as far as Beacon Hill, a little thin after that but still enjoyable. I would recommend the tour from start to Beacon Hill and the self guided after that. Still a good time and worth the time.

Our Downtown Freedom Trail Walking Tour is exactly that, which was and is an option. But with this tour, you also get to see both Beacon Hill and Back Bay, which includes their beautiful architecture, the Swan Boats in the Public Garden, Cheers, Newbury Street's boutiques, Commonwealth Avenue's townhomes and the Boston Marathon Commemorative in Copley Square.

Bob was a fantastic guide. He obviously loved his job. The pace was perfect, massively informative, and he was such a nice person. He was even flexible for us with the poor weather yesterday, allowing us to reschedule for the tour today without hassle. Highly recommended, interesting local history tour.

We used this tour early in our visit to Boston to understand the history of the city but also to get our bearings. Allan was a great guide and was inclusive of the whole group. We also appreciated the chance to shift the tour back a day as our actual booking was on a day of heavy rain. Great service
