Having never visited Boston before, we decided that our first day should include this walking tour. We met our guide, Alan, at the prescribed meeting point and began the tour with a group of around 20 people. The tour took in all of the freedom trail and tourist/historic hotspots. Pace of the tour was perfect for all ages. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. There was just enough history and information for all. On completion of the tour, Alan gave us recommendations for local cafes and restaurants, two of which we tried and found to be excellent. All in all, this was a superb start to our Boston trip.

Very fun 2 hour easy walk. Lots of stories and things to see. Highly recommended for a first time visitor to historic Boston

This tour was a disappointment. The guide seemed confused, didn’t make a whole lot of sense, and spent more time cracking bad jokes (like-really really bad) than passing along knowledge about the historic sites of the city.
