We booked the Boston Freedom Trail to Copley Square Walking Tour to entertain a few clients during a conference in town. The tour was fabulous and we would highly recommend if you are looking for a bit more history/culture. Also, it's always nerve racking booking these tours for a corporate outing because the tour guide can make or a break a tour. Our tour guide, Alan was wonderful! Very knowledgeable, friendly and led a great tour!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this tour, but I was pleasantly surprised. The tour was about 2.5 hours and covered many of the spots we wanted to see during our short visit. This tour was really convenient for us because we were staying in Back Bay and wanted to have a midday break afterward. We took an uber to the starting point of the tour and walked the tour almost all the way back to our hotel. The tour began at 10:00AM and ended around 12:30PM, just in time to grab some lunch near Copley Square. Our tour was on a Friday and there happens to be a market in Copley Square on Tuesdays and Fridays. We were lucky to experience the market at the end of our tour. There is only one stop along the tour for a bathroom break and it is a very crowded location. The bathroom area is in Boston Commons where you can also grab a drink or snack from the local cart vendors. Last comment is that the guides work for tips and should be tipped well for doing a good job. My group had about 20 people and I saw several husband and wife couples only give two dollars, one dollar or each person. That's disappointing.

We had such a nice time with Alan today. He was really friendly and informative-- able to answer all of our questions well. We had a BEAUTIFUL day to see everything which was awesome. I felt like we got to see everything we wanted in a short period of time. 2 hours was not too long, not too short. My favorite part -- the ducks in the Public Garden. I really liked that I went to places I may not have gone by myself (thinking I might not like/ have interest) like the Granary Burying Ground, which I found I actually really enjoyed.
