Great trip, long day but worth it, bus was modern (USB charging ports and WiFi, albeit limited capacity, seats reclined somewhat for sleeping) and the guide (Jorge) was excellent, very friendly, kept things moving with a nice manner and extremely knowledgeable with the ability to break up the long day in a way that it didn’t seem exhausting. Would recommend but the right guide is essential I would say, kids (11 &12) complained very little which says it all.

We were so so happy to have done this tour. As stated clearly it is a long day and there is not much time to stay at each of the locations however it would be literally impossible to spend lots of time at each of them. This is clear in the schedule/information on the site. To get to visit the sites listed - even if it was for 5-7 minutes a time was a brilliant experience. Traffic was bad in DC but Jorge and the driver made sensible changes to do some sites in a different order. Jorge was an outstanding guide - very knowledgable, funny and friendly. He was firm about ensuring people kept to time deadlines in order to ensure all sites could be visited and that the coach is back in time so people can be on time for any night time plans they have. It isnt fair or right for people to take too long in a shop/sites as this impacts all other people on the trip and into the evening in NY. Whilst some people have complained of the speed of the tour at locations it is literally impossible to spend lots of time at any of the sites. Thank you Jorge and the driver for an incredible experience.

The trip from Manhattan to DC is a good trip, although the 4 hour coach journey is long I think it is worth it. The coach is comfortable with AC, plug sockets and WiFi also you can eat/drink on board. You get a break with a stop at the services after 2 hours (there and back)to buy stuff/ restroom break which is needed, plus there is a toilet on board if you really need to go. The trip is well organised and time management is good, lots of reviews claimed the trip was rushed but I didn’t think that at all, there was even enough time to stop and buy souvenirs. Our tour guide was nice and very informative as well as answering all questions I had. I would recommend this trip to others.
