I read a lot of reviews about this tour and they were mixed, but I understand that is totally based on personality and expectations. I expected to see as many highlights as possible in the short time available in a one day tour. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!! This trip was fast, if you are looking to meander, stroll, or hang around at each place for a while and drink a coffee, then book the two day or a week. Don’t book a one-day trip. Jorge was a FANTASTIC guide, he clearly loves what he does, and his enthusiasm made the trip very enjoyable. Steve the bus driver was like a character from a movie... growly, grouchy, no patience for other drivers, no filter, and he was the highlight of our tour! He was hilarious and made me laugh the whole time! We went on the busiest day DC has seen since last summer and traffic was terrible, but it was still a fantastic tour, and we didn’t miss anything. Wish we would have had time to visit the museums AND get food from the food trucks AND wait in line for the bathroom during our free hour, but we had to pick just one. Food won!! We made a huge list of all the things we’ll see when we come back and spend a full week seeing everything. DO IT!! You will be so glad you did! Also, on our tour, my daughter and I were the only American’s on the tour. It was a really great blend of the whole wide world on our bus. TIP: get a business card from the tour guide with his cell phone number, so when you get left behind or don’t follow instructions on where to go or when to meet, you can call him and he can find you, and not hold up the tour for 30 minutes. I’m looking at you girls from Greece!! 😁

First of all the tour was in me and my fathers opinion perfetcly balanced. We would never have had the time to do and see as much as we did in DC in just one day if it would not have been for this tour with specifically our tour guide’s efficiency. Our guide came from Uruguay and was funny but still very educated in his field. I would highly recomend anyone who is in New York who only have a day to spare to make this trip.

Our bus driver senor Fernandez and tour guide senor horas where amazing. We traveled in comfort, clean bus, punctual and bilingual ( espanol and english) yes everything was said twice to deliberately include foreigners to enjoy the journey from Nyc to washington D.C. 14 hrs aprox.Senor Horas was so well educated and had the best people skills making the trip not only educational but inspirational and fun.Thankyou. We were told along the way what to expect and was courteous in what he expected of the group eg times to meet up, toilets ect. Everything he said we would do we did and enjoyed every minute. Senor Fernandez drove professionally and was navigated to the quickest most direct trip possible.Driving for 14hrs cant be to easy or fun..thankyou. I wish i had more to tip..had we found this tour earlier i could have.for a brochure go to the mcdolands opposite times square. $149 for a special deal..very worth the money as i walk away feeling educated, happy, and no regrets. Muito amor , gail from Australia.
