Never been to Washington DC so a day trip from NYC seemed like a good option. And it was. The trip started in Times Square where we drove to Washington via Delaware (where we had a stop! I've been to Delaware! Yay!).
The trip took in the iconic sight of the Lincoln Memorial, The White House, Capitol Hill, Arlington Cemetary and the National Air and Space Museum. The commentary from the guide was a bit hit and miss, but everything was timed like clockwork and even took into account the traffic delays.
Washington was great, so if you get the chance do it.
