The places we went too were beautiful; But too little time in each place. I understand it was a day trip but I expected to see more like the Washington monument the MLK memorial and the changing of the guards. We could have used 3 more hours in DC and it to NYC at night.

It’s a packed day starting at 6:30am and ended at 8:30pm back to New York. There was roughly 4 hours in Washington DC to see the different sites. I was lucky that the tour wasn’t full and about 20 ppl in a big coach. It would be great if the coach had a cup holder to put my coffee but overall I was happy with the arrangements and the coach condition. The best surprise was to take us to see the Manhattan skyline from New Jersey side at the end. Magnificent! Wouldn’t know about this place and couldn’t reach without a car. Not in the itinerary and I understood that it was because we were good on time. Thanks to Steve, our tour guide, very knowledgeable and patient. He explained more than the sites‘ history and told us about American culture. Really appreciated it.
