Marcus was great, and so was the driver Pete! Washington well worth a visit, as I did celebrating my 40th birthday. Long day to be expected, but only felt tiring towards the end. Would have preferred a better view of the White House, and a bit of a rush for older people to chase the group, so be aware, it’s not a chilled out day! You will need some level of fitness. I love the fact many people from all around the globe visit this wonderful place, but it felt a little tiring to hear everything twice, in English and Spanish. For me, I would make sure it’s a one spoken language guide on my next tour. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to see the essentials of Washington.

Marcos, our tourguide, showed us the most popular attractions in the capital of America. He knew and taught us a lot about this place. The only thing he could work a little more with is to not rush the stops. The other disappointing thing about the tour was The White House. There was a fence project in front, but we heard other tours were taken to the back of The White House and I think we could’ve done that too, as well. Other than that, we had a great day in the US Capital.

If you want a quick overview of the main attractions at Washington and don't mind a long trip in a bus this tour is ok. The bus was comfortable and scheduled stops ok. We visited Arlington Cemetery, viewed the front of the white house, explored the Washington memorial. All stops felt rushed and the White House was particularly disappointing as the fence at the front is being repaired and has scaffolding obstructing the view. I mentioned this to our guide who agreed & stated the back of the White House has more appeal. We were not taken to the back of the White House yet other tours were. I felt more time could have been allocated to this part of the tour rather than the Science Museum where we stopped for lunch. Another disappointment was this tour was listed as English speaking guide, however the guide favored the two Spanish speaking customers rather than the remaining English speaking customers. While I recognize all nationalities should be catered for, when the tour is stated to be English speaking tour guides this should be the primary language.
