Picked up at 6:30 outside McDonald's time square it's about a four hour drive to Washington stopped after about two hours at a service area in Delaware for 30 minutes. Carried on to Washington where we went passed the Pentagon the tour guide was telling us the history and interesting points about everything we passed .we walked round Arlington National cemetery, a quick stop at the marine corps memorial then on to the Lincoln memorial where we could have a walk round. We then went to the White House which you see from the front plenty of time to take photos then stopped at museums had plenty of time to walk round. Stopped at Capitol house then set off on the drive back to New York stopping in Delaware again. The tour guide was great very informative the coach had wi fi. It's a great way to see so much in one day .
