This tour stops at Arlington National Cemetery which effective immediately requires the guest to present a valid photo identification upon entry. Visitors 18 years of age and older must present a valid U.S. state or federal government-issued photo identification for entry. Visitors 16 and 17 years old who do not have a U.S. state or federal government-issued photo identification may present an official school-issued photo identification for entry. Persons who are not U.S. citizens must present a valid passport or U.S. State Department-issued photo identification for entry.

What To Expect

New York City

The Washington DC tour departs New York south passing through the states of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland before arriving at the nation's capital.

Arlington National Cemetery

Start the tour at Arlington National Cemetery and visit the Kennedy family gravesite.

Lincoln Memorial

Visit the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall.

Korean War Veterans Memorial

Visit the Korean War Veterans Memorial on the National Mall.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall.

Jefferson Memorial

Visit the Jefferson Memorial on the National Mall.

White House

Visit the White House (on most tours). We do not go into the White House. You will see the outside.

U.S. Capitol

Pass by the US Capitol (on most tours), home of the US Senate and House of Representatives. We do not go into the Capitol.

National Mall

Part of the iconic image of Washington, the reflecting pool hosts many of the 24 million visitors a year who visit the National Mall. It is lined by walking paths and shade trees on both sides.

We had Marcos as our tour guide and he was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable - the day was long but it wasn't tiring as we had plenty of stops and enough time to grab snacks and a coffee along the way there and back and a break for lunch in between. Learned so much about Washington DC and saw all the important sights with a great commentary along the way. Our driver, Pete, was great too, got us there and back safely and timely. My only complaint was that the meeting point had changed from when we booked and no-one contacted us to let us know so it was a frantic time early in the morning trying to find the meeting place. We made it with two minutes to spare otherwise they would have left without us. But all in all it was well worth the time and money and I would highly recommend.
