Unfortunately the day we took our tour was an exceptional cold day therefore the vinyl windows were lowered. We really couldn’t see the landmarks clearly as the windows were cloudy and scratched so pictures too were not an option. We went to DC for the cherry blossoms- as most of the other folks on the tour- however the stop was at the Lincoln Memorial, no where close to the blossoms. We decided at that point to not get back on the bus and just walk to the tidal basin and truly enjoy the blossoms. We also walked to a couple of museums. Of course the windows being lowered because of the frigid weather is not the company’s fault but maybe the windows could be clearer for better views. Also, maybe on peak cherry blossom days the Trolly stop could be adjusted to include a stop near the blossoms. Driver was very nice. Only complaint is lack of views due to the windows.

Dukes was a fantastic docent! This type of tour is only as good as the guy giving you the low-down and he did a really good job. It was our first full day in DC as part of a 5 day stay. We wanted to get the lay of the land first. This trip was just what we needed. Found lots of stuff we went bask to visit later.
