This trip exceeded my expectations. Godfrey, our driver, greeted us with a smile every time we returned to the bus. He was also an incredibly safe driver. Dave, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and fun to be with. The time off the bus to explore the monuments was just the right amount of time for me, but might not be enough for a first-time visitor. If this is your first time to DC, take this tour early so you know where to focus your time on your own. I really enjoyed getting to see the Marine monument by Arlington Cemetary since I had never seen it before. The monuments are beautiful at night, with the lights bringing out different aspects than during the day. I highly recommend this tour.
