Food was good, but our waitress was terrible. We asked to clarify about the tea included, if it was hot or cold, to which she listed all the tea options, sweet, unsweetened, etc. We ordered iced tea and was charged $4 for each glass, then said nothing when we reminded her that we specifically asked about it. Noticed other waiters were helpful with instructions. Biggest complaint was the music being extremely too loud and too club like for a day time scenic cruise. Had to spend most of trip outside with no seating and miserably hot. Would not recommend for tourists.

First of all, I have used by eight or for years in multiple countries, and in the US and have always had five star experiences. This experience was the worst that I have ever had. It was an extremely hot day, and although there was a big building where we could have been in They had us waiting in line outside in the hot sun. When we got on the boat, there was a nice mid level area that looked fairly nice, and was mildly cool. Unfortunately, for us, they assured us down to the bottom deck where it was extremely hot. The windows were filthy. We asked if we could move up to the upper floor but they said that we could not. It was sweltering heat so they did move us to the other side of the basement floor but it was still extremely hot. The bathroom was down another floor and was disgusting and there were supply cabinets that were open and supplies. Just falling out , not very clean. The weight staff was fairly nice. The food was awful. We signed up for a scenic cruise. However, we only went past Reagan, national Airport and the war College. Not past any monuments or anything else. They went back and forth past these two areas at least six times. Nothing scenic about it. We went outside to attempt to get some air and there were ropes all over the floor so you had to carefully step over those. The staff there were extremely rude when they were hooking up chains they just kept saying for us to “back up” several times, no please. This was the Spirit of Baltimore, and I would never recommend it to anyone. There was a boat next to us called the odyssey. It looked from the outside a lot nicer and it was a lower boat, so it was able to go under the bridge and see the monuments. If you really want to do anything I would recommend that. Had I known that the cruise I was on was definitely not a scenic route. I would’ve chose in the other boat. I chose the spirit boat because it was multi level and I thought I could get better views from up top. however, we couldn’t even go up to the upper deck as there was some type of a private party going on. We were pretty much dripping sweat throughout the entire cruise. When I went up to the bartender and asked for some ice water, he was not at all pleasant.

The cruise , food and staff were good. I read that this was going to be a narrated cruise and it wasn’t. Disappointed there.
