Take the elevator to the 500' observation deck, which provides breathtaking views on the North, South, East, and West sides of the Monument. As well, you can walk down to the small museum located on the 490' level. See all of DC’s major monuments and memorials up-close; taking about 10 to 15-minutes at each stop as your guide shadows you at all attractions. It was easy to cover the various famous monuments within a short period of time. It also save the time to wait for a ticket to see the Washington Monument. The tour guide knew her facts and made the tour very interesting. However, it did not allow time to get a break to get something to eat. I was very cold when we reached the Washington Monument since I ate only a light breakfast. It was very windy and I had to hide in the waiting area before our group could go in.

Our family had a great experience on this tour. Calvin made sure everyone was taken care of, and our guide, Joey, was so knowledgeable about all the sites we visited! It was well worth taking this tour!
