Our walk with Paul was super fun and educational! It wasn’t a very strenuous hike, but he brought us to some amazing views and shared SO MUCH fun knowledge along the way. We ate a leaf that tastes like a Granny Smith apple, learned about granny women - who used plants as medicine - and learned the history of the term hootenanny. Definitely worth your time! We’ll be back for sure!

What a fantastic day! We are experienced hikers who never hiked in the Blue Ridge Mountains and using Asheville Hiking Tours was a smart move for us. Our guide, Eli, was passionate, knowledgeable, and personable. She guided us with her expert knowledge, educated us on the local fauna and flora, and challenged us as we enjoyed a rigorous hike in the rain. We would definitely book again when we come back!

We take a lot of pride in educating and entertaining our guests, and leading great tours – even through a little rainforest weather! Eli really appreciates this type of feedback; she loves this work, and it really shows! Your review helps us know we are doing good work out there on the trails. We can't wait to have you back to do it all over again!

We met up at 8:30 AM and got back around 2 PM. The ride up the mountain was incredible, first a back road th at wound around the mountain which led up to the Blue Ridge Parkway, we got up to around 5,000 ft. We stopped at several lookouts, views were awesome. We stopped in Pisgah National Park and hiked in Pisgah Forest. We did two short hikes and one longer one, seeing 3 waterfalls. Our lead guide Eli was awesome, as was her support guide Shannon. Definitely worth the time and expense.
