The tour went well. Paul was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable about plants and birds. He happily took my pictures. He had a wealth of information and a good sense of humor. The waterfalls were not as majestic as I thought, but the colors were amazing and we saw a hunted bear.

Thanks for taking the time to write out your experience with Paul! He is truly a wealth of knowledge and we love him for that! We feel terrible that you had to see a hunted bear but also hope that it was insightful to the culture of our area. Bear hunting is a huge sport in NC and sometimes we collide on the trail since our need to adventure deep into the wild is mutual. We are also happy to hear you got to experience the fall colors in all their glory! There are so much more spots our guides can show you if you plan to come back to Asheville soon!

Such a fun trip with Eli, she was high energy, full of information and took us to some of the most amazing foliage spots. Once out hiking showed us so many amazing plants both big and small. Loved every second of it. Well worth doing
