What a wonderful experience! We have visited Asheville several times and driven the Parkway ourselves, but we wanted a different experience with someone who could actually explain things along the way. Paul exceeded all expectations! He has an incredible wealth of knowledge about the area, its history, the forest and the wildlife. I thought that we would just explore different waterfalls in the area, but it was so much more! He knows the area so well and took us to areas we never would've found ourselves. We will definitely book another trip with Asheville Hiking Tours on our next visit to the area.

Paul was such an amazing tour guide! He made our experience so enjoyable with all of his expert knowledge and passion. He was so friendly and personable and was even a great photographer! He customized the tour exactly to fit our fitness level and comfort. He taught us so many things along the way in regards to wildlife, nature, plants, & history of the area. We would highly recommend going on a tour with Paul for anyone that is looking for an excellent hiking experience. We can’t wait to come back and see him again!
