The best decision we made this trip! Paul, our trail guide was excellent with our group. He was equally as entertaining and captivating to us adults as well as to our 13 year old and 10 year old. Our kids were engaged the entire 5 hour tour and learned a bunch. Us adults learned a bunch too! Paul was able to cater to the different interests of the entire group and was always great at answering all of our questions. He is excellently knowledgeable on the Appalachian history, local culture, wildlife, and the plants we come across throughout the tour. We had a great time and enjoyed the entire experience. I highly recommend Paul for your tour.

The tour guide Chris made me feel comfortable and safe. Our group had a lot of laughs and the views were breathtaking. Chris was beyond knowledgeable of the history of the landscape and the birds, animals, and plants. We even got to try some plants and berries along the way. I was a solo traveler, and never once felt slighted. I highly recommend this tour for the history, scenery, and experience.
