The hike was everything I could have hoped for and more! Loved the small group experience! Our guide, Niko, shared the rich history and science of the area which made it all the more fascinating. I learned so much. Niko made sure we were all safe during the climbs and I didn’t feel rushed at all even though I had to stop and use my inhaler. I can’t imagine a better guide than our Niko and I can’t imagine a better hike! Thanks to Asheville Hiking Tours for a memorable experience! I plan to book again.

The group size is limited to 9, but we were fortunate to have only 5. Our guide, Nico, is very knowledgeable about local flora, fauna, and fungi. We hiked to 3 waterfalls that are off the beaten path, so our group was alone at each of them. We stopped by another popular one on the road home—very crowded, took a glimpse and split. Perfect plan.
