We met with Paul on Saturday 5/29 for our Half Day Hiking Tour. I cannot say enough about the experience we had! My husband and I go on tours quite regularly and Paul has set the bar extremely high. His passion for the plants, trees, water, and animal life is contagious. He is super knowledgeable and is able to share that knowledge in a way that makes you hungry for more. The quote, “you’ll never work a day in your life if you love your job” suits Paul to a T. Yes, he was working hard! He had walking poles for each of us, snacks, and water. He took us off the beaten path quite a few times and even stayed extra with us at the end. However, it did not seem like a “job” to Paul, it seemed to thrill him to experience the hike through our eyes. My husband and I will be requesting Paul each and every time we go back to beautiful Asheville. I have a new appreciation for nature!
