Our guide, Paul, was fantastic. He contacted us early prior to our scheduled tour to welcome us to Asheville and to ensure we knew where to meet the following day. Upon arrival, he was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. He laid out the map of the mountains and pointed out the waterfalls and peaks we’d be visiting. Though we originally thought it was a 100% hiking tour, it turned out to be a mix of hiking and driving to other locations to hike from. After the previous days amount of walking, etc., we were actually thankful for this little respite of not having to hike 100%. During the course of the hike, while taking us to see Outlook Waterfall, Whaleback Waterfall and Tom’s Creek waterfalls along with visiting Mt. Pisgah, he would share his knowledge of plants, trees, foliage, etc. The experience was well worth the time and I would definitely recommend him and the tour again.

Our tour guide, Paul, was top notch. He was amazingly knowledgeable about the region we visited, including its fauna and flora. Paul’s love and joy for what he does is contagious and made us wanted to learn from him. The region is so beautiful and Paul took his time to allow us to enjoy every moment of our tour. I highly recommend this tour and don’t forget to ask for Paul as your guide.
