Abby was an amazing guide and the scenery was spectacular! Highly recommend!! She taught us so much about the different trees and plants and gave us insight into the history of the area. She's great with children and our daughter had a blast. Abby also had lots of good advice for other things we could do during the rest of our NC visit.

What a fantastic tour!!! It made our day and our whole vacation wonderful. Paul was our tour guide. He was fun, friendly, kind and while all of those qualities are important , he is a knowledgeable naturalist. He is passionate about plants and forestry. He was so interesting and we came away with many take- always. The tour was well planned and went at a perfect pace for all of us. We hiked multiple beautiful waterfalls in addition to seeing outstanding scenery. We would recommend this tour for all age groups and would do another tour with this company in a flash. In fact we were looking for other tour options from them the following day. Don’t miss this one!!!

We have hiked this area alone with the kids before. We decided to try going with an expert. What an excellent idea. We learned and saw so many things we never would have alone. Paul knew places and times to avoid crowds and places off the beaten path. He is a true expert of forests and birds and animals. He taught my two boys about the healing power of natural plants and Trees all around. Usually they hate to learn but with Paul they loved it. He was kind and patient and a gem. He was in no rush and wanted us to enjoy every minute and appreciate the wonders of Pisgah and the diversity and beauty it has to offer. We will call this company next summer and try a different hike area and learn some more ! Thanks Paul.
