Our time with Mike was fantastic- he is obviously very knowledgeable and so enthusiastic about his job.! From the time he picked us up at our b&b (and isn't that a wonderful service in itself!), he could not have been more helpful, courteous and professional. Took great care of us, providing water, snacks, rain gear and trekking poles as needed without us even having to ask. Saw some stunning scenery along the Parkway, then did some gentle hiking to the falls. The whole concept of the company is marvelous- hits a tourism niche that others did not consider and provides true service and information in a fun and interesting way. Can't say I remember everything that Mike taught us, but definitely learned something new!!!

I went on this tour with some friends and I would definitely recommend it. Jennifer was a huge help in bringing us to what I have to imagine are the best falls in the area. She answered any questions we had and filled us in on many things that we would never have thought to ask concerning the areas natural history. If you want to tour Asheville's surrounding areas and want it to be an experience rather than a list of places to go, then I definitely recommend this company.

Great fun, great conversation, great time! Heading up in the mountains with Mike, my hubby and one other and were fortunate to see all sides of Mother Nature - started with dense fog which gave way to beautiful sunshine, and then - the thunderous sounds and downpours! Still awesome! Actually, what an awesome memory to hear that pounding sound in your chest in the middle of the mountains! Thank you for an awesome tour, MIke!
