The spring was named "Weeki Wachee" by Seminoles, which means "Little Spring" or "Winding River" in their language. Weeki Freshwater Adventures is the only kayak and paddleboard rental facility located on the river at Weeki Wachee Springs State Park in Florida. Enjoy a journey out onto the gorgeous waters of one of the top recreational water sports destinations.

Nice fairly long kayak trip down a very picturesque river. Water clarity very good. Lpys of fish and somr fish jumping. Ssw bald eagle, white egrets, various herons, ducks, river otter and small song birds. Bring sun screen, bug repellent, bottled wster and your camera Enjoy your trip.
