Here at Twisted Texas we trolled the archives, pestered locals, & maybe even did a little dumpster diving to know all the weird and wild tales of Austin. And now we want to share them with you. Your Twisted guide will show you the best of everything Austin has to offer: live music, food trucks, weird people, and oh so much more.

None, the tour guides tried to make it a silly party rather than an interesting tour. For example, at the Littlefield Fountain, we were explaining to the tour guide what it was.

It sounds like we need to address the intent of this tour with our guides to clarify that while we want a fun atmosphere, we still need them to relay the information about the sights. We loved stopping at all the beautiful murals. The tour was structured so the guide would share information while driving then we’d get to experience the areas at the stops and along the ride. The guides were energetic and engaging. They were also happy to give recommendations of things to do and places to see that weren’t on the tour for Austin visitors.

We had the best time on our Keep Austin Weird tour! We loved hearing about all of the different spots around Austin as well as learning about some of its history like how "Keep Austin Weird" came to be! The live music from Clint was also a highlight - he is quite talented and we enjoyed his Austin twists to several classic songs! We will definitely take another Twisted Texas Tour on our next trip to Austin!
