Michelle of Savannah Tours was awesome! She called the morning of our scheduled tour because all other attendees cancelled due to the rainy forecast. She offered a refund, but we opted to juggle our schedule and went the next day. SO glad we made that choice. Michelle took a group of nine on a 90 + minute stroll through historic Savannah and made it feel like a brief outing with a friend. She clearly knows her stuff, but shared her knowledge in a way that felt like she was a local friend just showing us the sights. Like any tour guide, she shared the history of beautiful, historic Savannah, but she also shared insights into hauntings, tips on where to eat, house tours to take, where to shop....information to make our entire trip better. Thank you Michelle. (Michelle...if you see this, I hope your carrots get the rain they need!)

Michelle led us on a delightful tour ā€”square hopping at a leisurely pace, with time to learn about the stories behind some of the famous and lesser known houses and statues. She also managed to give us the scoop on Savannahā€™s history as a working port, a site of industry and of Revolutionary War history. We were surprised by some of the stories and facts, amd thiroughly entertained by her humor and ease with herself as she led us on her non-scripted but richly informative tour. She was also so helpful in pointing out places to eat, more fun things to follow the tour, and practicalities like where the cleaner bathrooms could be found. Such a fantastic introduction to Savannah for us newbies, but there were also locals on our tour who stayed interested and even surprised to learn new things about the town.

I am from Savannah but I had friends come into town who have never been here before so I wanted them to get an experience of Savannah's history. This was hands down the best tour!! Michelle has so much knowledge of Savannah my friends left knowing so much history. Will recommend again to others!!!
