What To Expect

Johnson Square

We will learn about the beginning of Georgia and tour the original squares. Discuss the Colonial way of life churches, monuments and markers in this area as we journey into a timeline walk of the Historic District. Then our tour proceeds down Bull Street. The tour is one miles of walking and includes stops at Civil War homes, Cemetery, Theaters and famous movie locations.

One of the top walking tours I've ever been on. She was not only knowledgable about the overall history of the city, but offer fun facts throughout the tour. She even had answers to obscure questions that were asked. The fact that she kept her group small gave a more personal feel to the tour.

Amazing private tour. We spoke by phone before the tour and discussed the areas that we wanted to see, which was already on the tour route. We really enjoyed the tour.

Our guide, Michelle, was friendly, informative and offered stories of history, movie locations along our walk. She had a lot of historical knowledge and fun stories to share. She was patient and answered our questions. Great personality.
