What To Expect

Johnson Square

We will learn about the beginning of Georgia and tour the original squares. Discuss the Colonial way of life churches, monuments and markers in this area as we journey into a timeline walk of the Historic District. Then our tour proceeds down Bull Street. The tour is one miles of walking and includes stops at Civil War homes, Cemetery, Theaters and famous movie locations.

We enjoyed our tour with Michelle. She covered a breadth of topics and answered a myriad of questions. Slow pace and shady route. Our group had 10, which was an ideal size to hear her easily and note run over other groups. This tour ended at Colonial Park Cemetery, not at Forsythe Park, as many others do.
