What To Expect

Johnson Square

We will learn about the beginning of Georgia and tour the original squares. Discuss the Colonial way of life churches, monuments and markers in this area as we journey into a timeline walk of the Historic District. Then our tour proceeds down Bull Street. The tour is one miles of walking and includes stops at Civil War homes, Cemetery, Theaters and famous movie locations.

My wife and I live in Savannah and are both fascinated by the history of the area. We love finding new facts about Savannah to share with each other. I kept hearing about Shelly's tour. We decided to give a shot, not expecting much more than basic facts. We were blown away. Shelly is amazing. She seems to have an encyclopedic knowledge of the area. What a fun, educational tour!! HIGHLY recommended!

This tour was great. I came down for a visit back to the city and decided to try one of the tours I’ve always seen. It was wonderful! I learned and saw a few things that even I did not know and I had lived there for a few years. I HIGHLY recommend, definitely put this on your agenda when in Savannah!
