Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
All Maui County rules and regulations are followed. No masks required.

The activity it self is one of the best things you can do at Maui.. beautiful horses- amazing locations, but the people who run the company are one of the worst.. they only care about their money!! Don't book with them!

RIDICULOUS!! I am quite insulted by this. If money was the only thing we cared about, our horses would be ridden twice a day everyday like all the other trail rides on the island. Our horses go out once a day maybe 5 time a week total. This review is absurd and it actually sounds like it is written by the employee that was just let go.

We Had a wonderful time on this activity. From the second we arrived and were greeted by the parking lot attendant and his pack of Chihuahuas it was awesome. Kristen and her staff were helpful and friendly. They match riders levels to the right horse. She provides drinks saddlebags and helmets. The ride itself was beautiful up a mountain where you could see a waterfall in the distance then down to the ocean. Plenty of opportunities to take beautiful pictures. There was even the opportunity to run with the horses if you wanted to. When we got back she had more cold drinks and even provided towelettes to clean up With. I really enjoyed this!

This was the best part of my trip. I hope I got the tour guides names right. They were great and they knew each horse so well, which made the ride a lot easier thanks to their tips. Overall an amazing experience, and I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting Maui. Make sure you wear sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, and if you bring a bag, make sure it can be tightly secured so nothing falls out (otherwise the guides will have to pick it up).
