They take great care in matching the horse with the rider. They only do one trail ride a day so the animals are not overworked which means they have energy for the two hour ride. Beautiful views and guides take photos with your own camera at two different scenic spots. It does get dusty at times so be prepared for that. Highly recommend.

My sister and I were 2 or the 3 less experienced riders in our group of 7. Freddy, our host rider was very friendly, knowledgeable about the area (lived in Maui his whole life), and made sure that we tasted the local fruits he plucked off the trees on the trail. The pictures he took were spectacular. Making sure he got the perfect shots using your phone or camera for each person on the ride. Freddy, make sure my sisters horse stayed in line, and she had a safe ride. The manager/owner? of the ranch was also very friendly and knowledgeable and gave our group a brush up briefing on horse handling tips. The horses, were matched with each rider in our group based on experience. The advanced riders were allowed to run their horses the last quarter mile or so. The experience and ride lasted about 3 hours, including the short 10 ride from the parking spot to the horses. Great way to see the still undeveloped parts of Maui. Highly recommend this activity.

Kristen, the manager is A-1, experience and equine knowledge. Native wrangler knew the plants, trees, let all sample some exotic fruits from the tree. Knew the geographic area and history along with little tidbits about fishing for octopus. Mounts were well matched and the herds were in great flesh. Added color of peacocks, barn cats & dogs, sheep, billy goat, and chickens. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to see the views not from a car or your bus.
