Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
All Maui County rules and regulations are followed. No masks required.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

I really enjoyed this ride! I am an advanced rider who has been riding for a long time. This was one of the best trail rides that I've experienced. It was a great length and took you both up the mountain and down to the coastline. While the views were spectacular, my favorite part was getting to gallop my horse! Not many companies offer riders that chance, so being able to do that was fabulous! The owner of the company was super friendly and attentive to her customers. She explained everything and made sure all riders (regardless of ability level) felt comfortable before leaving for the ride. The guides who took us out on the ride were great too. They would pick various fruits fresh off of trees and hand them out to riders. They took a lot of photos of you on your horse at various viewpoints. I highly recommend this company, especially if you are looking for something other than a "typical" trail ride. They are knowledgeable, really care about their horses (they only take their horses out once a day), and are attentive to the riders and their ability levels.

The ride was really great, horses were well suited to the skill levels, the scenery was beautiful, and the guides were great. One guide even went back to look for a lost item for my daughter.

My friend got sea sick the night before and we could not make the 8 am ride .tried to get refund and was told sorry .Well I'm sorry I booked the trip because that is horrible customer Service . Thanks

We were not notified by you that you would not be able to attend the ride until late in the afternoon well after the ride was finished. I was told the only other time you had available to ride was the very next morning which was completely sold out. Customers book a month in advance to get on the horseback during peak summer season. I tried asking other confirmed customers if anyone had any juggle room to try to make space but no success. As far as the refund I have no control of any reservation that is booked thru a third party agency. For this particular agency once you are inside the 24 hour Cxl period a Drs note is required for a full refund which you must have been unwilling to get. Sorry you did not get to ride with us. Hope you had a great rest of your vacation.
