Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
All Maui County rules and regulations are followed. No masks required.

First of all the owner, Kristen, is so lovely and helpful. My daughter is an experienced equestrian and I have ridden a few times. They matched us with horses that fit us perfectly. I got to gallop for the first time — which was an amazing experience. Besides all that it’s the prettiest trail ride I’ve ever been on. Who ever commented about the dust was not wrong. When the wind picked up it was a dust storm, but it’s a trail ride, what are you going to do? Very highly recommend this ride!

Wonderful family farm Loved the riding but even more loved the connection with the people From the guy who told you where to park to the guides to the lovely owner great people. You felt right at home. Beautiful sites!

This was an amazing trip for me and my daughter. We both ride quite a bit but still found this trail ride to be interesting and beautiful. We particularly appreciate how well this outfit cares for their horses - only ridden once per day and all were clean and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The guides did a great job of matching their guests riding abilities with the horses so beginners to advanced had a wonderful time. Only input I have for this outfit is to make clear that pickup to go to the ranch is at 8:30 and actually ride doesn't start until 9:30ish (after waivers filled out, instrucitons given and horses matched). We thought we'd be done sooner that we were.
