Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
All Maui County rules and regulations are followed. No masks required.

What an AMAZING TOUR! I brought my twins out on there Birthday to do the morning ride and they absolutely LOVED it! We are kama'aina and at times can take our beautiful island for granted, but doing this ride reconfirmed how truly blessed we are to call this place HOME. We were greeted at the parking lot by uncle Jimmy and then driven to the property by Joe. These gentlemen make you feel like family from the beginning! We then signed our waiver forms with Kristin (the sweetest all around wahine) and got some instructions from her on how to handle our horses. We grabbed our saddle bags and some drinks and mounted up. Helmets are mandatory for riders 14 years and younger and optional for all others. We were then introduced to our 3 tour guides who are some of the BEST that I've ever been around. They were knowledgeable,funny, helpful and overall AMAZING! they picked fresh liliko'i off the vines for everyone to eat and guava too. We rode up to Mount 'Eke and witnessed beautiful waterfalls streaming down the Mountain side known as Wall of Tears then rode down makai along the coast.On our way down we were greeted with a huge downpour and was soak and wet from head to toe.Make sure you pack towels just in case, sunscreen is good and mosquito repellant too! We really enjoyed the sights on our tour as well as the interaction with our guides. This was a very memorable experience and was one of the highlights of our trip!

I normally never would write a review but my wife and I had so much fun horseback riding that I decided to write one. The ride, views, and people far exceeded our expectations. What isn't mentioned in their description is that you get to ride through the valleys where Jurassic Park was filmed! There are beautiful waterfalls and views of the ocean. Wild peacocks too! As we were riding, our guide was pulling fresh native fruit right off the trees for us to try. The horses were well behaved and provided for a comfortable safe ride. The owners and guides are great people who really care about their animals and the land. Highly recommend!
