Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
All Maui County rules and regulations are followed. No masks required.

This was the best horseback tour I've ever been on! The horses were fantastic, clearly living a good life, and the guides were excellent. They did an amazing job sussing out each rider's abilities and comfort, allowing those with less experience to feel safe and comfortable while giving the more experienced riders an opportunity to gallop at top speed if they cared to. And the ranch! The ranch was chock full of peacocks and peahens, many, many adorable tiny cats, some friendly sheep, a sweet, elderly dog named Princess, and the horses of course! I will do this adventure every time I come to Maui!

My teenage daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our ride. The views were spectacular, the horses well trained and cared for and the staff was patient, kind and helpful! We also had the opportunity to run with our horse. Also beautiful wild peacocks roam around the stables. Highly recommend!

It was an awesome ranch, complete with horses, sheep, peacocks, chickens, cats, and more! The staff are warm and helpful. We had a great group on our tour! Weather can be mixed so take a poncho or light jacket. Views are stunning from the mountain top down to the ocean waves. Highly recommend!
