Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
All Maui County rules and regulations are followed. No masks required.

Everything went perfectly! We were pleasantly surprised when we showed up- greeted by an array of the most adorable kittens and farm animals. Everyone was very accommodating the second we arrived, with free ice-cold beverages and optional safety equipment. Our tour guides (Nick and Selena) were extremely helpful and supportive of all our needs; whether beginner or advanced. The tour was gorgeous and a fun experience every step (or trot) of the way.

Such a fun jaunt around on horseback. Fred and Michelle were wonderful guides and gave such good insight into the local scene. Fred found us some delicious guavas right from the bush along the way. They both were knowledgeable and friendly with Fred having a dry and funny disposition. And what a little farm they have! It’s like two adventures in one, getting to know all their other little farm animals and learning that they really go the extra mile in taking care of their animals. We’d wholeheartedly return for another round with Diamond and Cowboy any day :)

Had the most spectacular horse ride! The views were unbelievable. The guides were great. They let us taste fresh fruit along the trails and took amazing keep sake photos for us. And they did an incredible job of tailoring everyone’s experience to their riding level. I was so excited that they let me trot / canter! My husband who is a less experienced rider enjoyed walking the whole time and taking the views in. The horses were beautiful and well taken care of. This could not have been a better experience. The perfect length too! Hoping to come back February 2023 for another ride and maybe some whale sightings!!
