Overview

Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 15 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
All Maui County rules and regulations are followed. No masks required.

We really enjoyed the ride. Horses are so well trained, easy to handle. My daughter loved cantering at the end of the ride.

Mendes Ranch is beautiful. Exceptionally friendly people who are beyond knowledgeable. Took the time and care to check in with everybody on ability and matched horses accordingly. Chad and Brandon were amazing! Would definitely do again and recommend to everyone.

Everyone was super nice and very attentive to our needs and experience levels. Michelle and Troy were fantastic guides. I would highly recommend as well as do it all over again. They also have ATV tours that I want to take advantage of next time I am there.
