Overview

Westminster Wine tour tours vineyards located in Western Maryland. Civil war heritage and Maryland’s farming culture are celebrated in Western Maryland. Preserving this rich history blends well with modern day culture. This mix of old and new can be found in vineyards in this region. Winemakers use new and aged old wine making traditions. You will find that some wines are grown in the Bordeaux style. If you like Seyval Blanc, Cabernet, or Vidal Blanc then you love the wineries on the Westminster wine tour! Some of the vineyards we visit are Old Westminster Winery, Serpent Ridge Vineyard, Black Ankle Vineyard, and Linganore Winecellars, Hidden Hills Vineyard, New Market Plains Winery, Big Cork Vineyard, Urban Winery, Springfield Manor, Catoctin Breeze Vineyard.

Dress code is smart casual. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothing. High-heeled shoes are discouraged. Some wine tours will occur in the vineyard. Depending upon the conditions, the vineyards may be muddy.
Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not a minimum of eight passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, an alternative or full refund will be offered
Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or anyone using a wheelchair
All of the wineries have patio or dining facilities, but feel free to pack a lunch or snack. There will be time during the first visit to eat. Purchase wine to drink with food, if desired. The wineries will uncork to bottle (no fee)
It is prohibited to bring other alcoholic beverages to the winery. It is also prohibited to bring alcoholic beverages that were not purchased from the wineries on the tour

Leslie & Pam created an unforgettable day for us! We celebrated our daughter's 26th birthday with a tour through the Westminster Region. They were on time, the van was clean and comfortable, they played great music, and were knowledgable about the region and the wineries. They took care of every detail - the charcuteries were spectacular and they even brought cupcakes for the birthday celebration! We can't wait to tour with them again!!

We chose the wine tour for our friends bacherlorette party. They picked us up on time, were accommodating to help with coolers and such. Also helped set up our lunch at one venue! Great service, fun day!

This was my second wine tour with the company and Leslie as our tour guide. This tour was just as lovely, educational, relaxing and fun as the first one (Patapsco). The two wineries that were selected were completely different but each was charming in their own way. I would highly recommend using Vino 301 for a party or just for something to do on a fall day. I am looking forward to booking another tour soon.
