Overview

We get views of the wildlife of the salt marsh that people almost never have an opportunity to see. We sail daily from April until October so we always know where we are likely to see the most interesting birds and with 25 years of experience running these tours we know where we are likely to have the best trip. Our route varies daily depending on conditions.

Sept 9th was our first time on the Safari Cruise, and we loved it! We were so thrilled at the numbers of birds and variety of species! Erica, the Naturalist, and Bob, the Captain, were so knowledgeable, and when we told them which birds would be life-birds for us, they went out of their way to point them out, explain the field markings, and make sure we had excellent views of each one. On this day we added Forster's Tern, Ruddy Turnstone, Short-billed Dowitcher, Marbled Godwit, Whimbrel, and Black-bellied Plover to our life list! We highly recommend Birding by Boat on the Osprey! We went back for the Sunset Cruise the next day, and we're definitely going to make this a part of every Cape May vacation.

My favorite part on the ride was Captain getting to these bird spots and seeing many different birds and he wasn’t in no hurry to get back. Wanted us to get many views as we could. Thank you

Best outing in Cape May! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic crew. Unforgettable bird sightings. Highly recommend this trip! Even my non-birder friends had a great time.
